Shamanic Journeying

In this class you will be introduced to the concept of ‘core shamanism’ and experience shamanic journeying for yourself, learning how to access ‘non-ordinary reality’ for problem solving and healing. Lena Swanson shares the core teachings of this transformative practice, including the original role of the shaman in indigenous societies, how to meet and work with your ‘power animal’ and other spirit helpers, and the keys to successful journeying. Shamanic Sundays are six all-day shamanic nature field trips to local power spots. We will spend the day together celebrating and working in partnership with the spirits. Activities will include both group and individual exploration and deepening of our relationships with animals, the elements, nature spirits, and the devic realms. Basic journeying skills are a prerequisite. (See my class dates for beginning journeying classes. Individual sessions are also available.)

We will use shamanic journeying techniques to experience and explore the Medicine for the Earth material as created by Sandra Ingerman.

This class is a refresher course for those who have already experienced an Introduction to Shamanic Journeying workshop from any teacher. We will explore a variety of journeying experiences and take the work to a deeper level.
